Read the individual clarity result
Growing a diamond in a laboratory does not guarantee flawless clarity. Lab-grown diamonds can contain inclusions and growth features, just as natural diamonds can have characteristics of their own.
Growth can leave internal characteristics within the crystal. These are assessed using the same clarity principles that apply to any diamond: size, number, position, nature and relief, viewed by a skilled grader under magnification.
Clarity must be assessed for the individual stone. Assess each diamond’s own clarity result on its report rather than relying on general expectations, and look at the stone itself before you decide. The illustration shown here is for explanation only.
