เฉดสี ความเข้ม และความสด
สีที่เราเห็นในเพชรสีชมพูเกิดจากองค์ประกอบสามอย่างรวมกัน ได้แก่ เฉดสี (Hue) ระดับความสว่างหรือความมืดของสี (Tone) และความสดหรือความอิ่มตัวของสี (Saturation)

Faint to Fancy Deep
Pink diamonds are described by more than a single word for colour. Every pink colour description combines three elements: hue, the basic colour itself; tone, how light or dark it appears; and saturation, the strength of the colour.
Coloured diamond descriptions range from faint appearances to the fancy grades. Fancy Vivid, Fancy Dark and Fancy Deep describe different colour regions; they are not a simple ladder of darkness. Fancy Vivid points to strong saturation, while Fancy Dark and Fancy Deep involve a darker tone. A darker appearance does not necessarily mean stronger saturation.
The shades in this guide are illustrations to help you recognise the vocabulary. They are not grading samples, and screens and printing can shift colour. When considering a pink diamond, read the full colour description on its report and view the stone itself in natural, even light.
